Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Are these readings within spec?

I took some readings today. 60 MPH:

400-450 EGT

3-4 psi boost

26 PSI fuel pressure



40 MPH:

400 EGT

0-1 PSI boost

23 PSI fuel pressure.



This was on flat ground, and no wind. EGT is post turbo.

Also 3. 54 gears, and a 5 speed.

I run 700 to 750 on my egt at 65 but that is at pre turbo... ... . may I ask why you run post turbo?

EGT's seem HIGH @ those MPH



My 24v runs alot lower



check your connections too, boost seems somewhat low

Assuming the difference between per and post temps is 300° your 60 mph numbers are exactly the same as mine.

I run my 96 post turbo (for checking cool down of turbo), and my egts are basically the same as yours.
