I have never seen any exhaust system bolt or nut that went from FULL torque to ZERO torque in less than 1/8 th turn, but all four of these did.
About to reinstall all the parts I loosened to put in my pyro thermocouple, and wondering if anti-seize lube is in order on these studs/nuts. I put it on the pyro bushing, but Im thinking if all they are depending on to hold this flange connection is brute torque (nut against flange, no lock washer) maybe anti-seize would make the connection too loose?
Any thoughts or suggestions?
And does anyone know the torque spec for the flange bolts.
Just dealing with my problems one at a time
Thanx,
Joe
