Hey guys!!

For all those going west in just a few weeks, I think we should start finding out who's leaving when and who wants to follow along.

Also, does anyone know how to get there?

I know for myself, I'm not sure if I'll be leaving early in the week or not and incorporating it into a 1 1/2 week vaca. :D :p or not.

I saw that bigdig is leaving on thurs am.

anyone else (it might help me make up my mind)

and if we all convoy... . are we gonna go straight through or stop on the way?

I plan on leaving Thursday AM... . not sure if I'm going to go east and catch the caravan there... . or meet up in NY state on 84 closer to where I pickup Deo.

Oh what fun Muncie will be this year..... :D :-laf

Figgy, wait for me. I may head out with you. ;)

I think that will be my plan. Leave Thur PM and meet Andy & Scott in New Stanton.

Well, bigdig... . you were the only one that posted so far on the other thread

I don't know if I'll leave early... . I may leave thursday night also... . considering I don't know where everyone is meeting. :(

I plan on linking up with the massdiesel caravan. If I have it right I'll be hooking up with him mid morning on Thursday, in Danbury off of I-84 and trucking on down to PA for an evening stopover. Then make the rest of the trip on Friday, getting there early in the afternoon.

And, YES ... . we know how to get there!!!

I can post the proposed route this evening.

Proposed route....IMHO....

Here's how I'd go if I were leaving Norfolk, MA:

495 north

90 west

84 west

81 south

80 west

And if we're going anywhere near Doug's place then throw in 28/66 south (old exit 13 off 80 west), 422 west, etc.

If we didn't have any dually's in the herd then we could take the Taconic Parkway from 90 west and avoid CT completely... .

IF WE DIDN'T HAVE DUALLY'S!!!!!!!!

That hurts man!!!!!

but if we didn't ,just think how dull it would have been at dyno not watching outer tires smoke and get cut up... ...

I'm still hurt, maybe I'll puke my COFFEE all over your truck in Muncie!!!!!

80's ... OK... . but were I driving it, I'd take I81 to the Pennsy Green Stamp to I70, then north the few miles to Muncie. There's the long hill down into Wheeling, then the long hill climbing back out.

Unless, of course, there was a babe along I80 I had to stop and see... . :)

But as the itinerant knife sharpener says, "To each 'is hone. "

I don't know where the ADT shop is - so that's going to affect our route substantially.

The directions I gave would get you darn close to Doug's house... .

Matt

Scott called last night to say that he's had to push his schedule up by a whole day. So will the guys in PA.

This leaves the rest of us with no need to divert down to Pittsburgh, so we can do a straight shot to Muncie. Norfolk, MA ---> Danbury, CT ---> Muncie, IN is 14hr and 30 min.

What does everyone want to do?

MTE

Well I put in for thursday through monday off so if we can leave thursday, cool. Just set a meeting place and I'm there...
