I heard they were having troubles again, old program is good but new one isn't??

I was thinking of going to a TST, my 140 X-zillaraider is in the classifieds.

Maybe an EZ with VA duration stack.

Anybody know how much timing is provided with an EZ or TST?

I had a TST and it made my truck go berserk! Sold it to Gypsyman during his quest for a code-free TST box and I heard feedback that he only got the cam code with it, otherwise OK. When it didn't make my truck go berserk it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Interesting how it works well on some trucks and bad on others. A few guys in town have the original twins program on their 305/555 rigs with no problems.

After the cam install I sold my BDDP. It gave good results with the timing, duration, and pressure - all in moderation - but I hated the lack of in-cab adjustability. It gave no codes.

Was thinking about the xzillaraider, but I haven't seen any feedback from people running it with injectors. Otherwise reports on it seem to range from excellent to code problems. In-cab adjustability and simple hookup do sound appealing though. Why are you selling your xzillaraider?

Like many others, I'm also interested in the 305/555 Juice, whenever it comes out. I might just sign up on their web-site to put my name in as a potential beta-tester for the heck of it!

Also intrigued by the "heard-it-through-the-grape-vine-rumblings" of a VA timing and duration box...

In-cab knob is great, had it on my VA and then Ramifier and now X-zillaraider.

Once you have a knob you can grab and roll on or off with out having to even look at it makes driving a pleasure. For the most part I leave stuff turned down and only crank it up when I need to.

No codes on any of the 3 boxes I have used and very easy install.

As for selling. . well to be honest I don't feel comfortable with the pressures I see on my fuel rail pressure gauge.

What I really want is timing & duration with a knob. Some pressure is ok but I would like to cap it at 26K.

Me too and I did email them a while back about it. They said its on the books to do but wasn't high priority. I think I will send off another email.

Were the xzilleraider pressures the same pressures as seen on an aggressive pressure only box? How did the Ramifier pressures compare?

If yo mean an EZ turned up, I haven't tried one of those to compare.
How did the Ramifier pressures compare?

Hard to say on that one because the Ramifier has a volume type knob with no notches that you can give numbered settings to.

The Ramifier would produce over 27K and 1500+ EGT's on a WOT run turned all the way up. The X-zill on 140 is right at 27K and 150 deg cooler so I think its doing a better job advancing the timing.

I would like to find out how much timing the X-zill provides because it might make a nice stack with a VAC3. 2 but so far Quad hasent said.

I may find someone to trade my 140 box for their 100 box and focus on a duration stack, just not too sure.

I posted on another thread that I saw 27,100 on the 60 setting and that was not correct as I was using the "high level recall" to bring up that recording.

On my CA SO model I have only seen 19K on that setting while watching the gauge at WOT 3000 RPM's

In all fairness to the box makers I have to admit my SPA gauge "high level recall" feature is so fast that it will record spikes so using the high level recall is not accurate and for sustained pressures you have to actually watch the gauge to see what they are.

I really hoped I was, but now I'm debating on a bigger turbo, injectors, real clutch, more aggressive box. I thought the box would have satisfied my thrist, but all I did was drink salt water.

I was doing just fine with mine - then the post about the cam showed up and I started drooling again..... luckily I stumbled across a "decent" deal on RC trucks, which has taken my attention and cash just as fast as my truck ever did... ... .

Dang internet... ... !

I hope to add the following within the next 6 months or so:

Toyo M/T 37x13. 5 17's

Traction Bars

Piers or Poole Twins

Arp Studs

Piers Cam

Daystar 'Baja Bar'

Well, the 37" Toyo M/T's are on and the PBP Poole twins will hopefully begin construction this week. Next stop... Piers, for a cam and while they are at it some ARP studs :D

My other ride is a Jeep Wrangler.

Good vehicals are bought... . Great vehicals are built. Getting enough mods done on your ride is like getting enough guns in your collection.

Man... how fast things change:D

Lost an injector, new ones showing up this week, larger turbo showing up next week - new clutch in about 15k miles;)

I'm happy with my mods, I just want to make the truck run as efficiant as I possiably can. All I have is the Bully Dog Power Pup downloader, 5" Stacks and AEM brute Force intake. In the future I want to get a better clutch, a new turbo<-- "maybe" and for sure the ATS manifold.

Hmmm..... Am I finished YET? The eternal question from the Wife. Nope, I shall reply... Uh..... Hon? Can I get just a few more things?... . I'll add onboard DVD for ya... . :)

The quest for more power will never end,at least it hasnt for me.

AK RAM, your quest of motor only 3rd gen running in the 12's has already been done by one of the relentless diesel trucks back in december. Jason Read ran a 12. 85 at baytown when there was a diesel meet there.
