All of a sudden we're starting to get messages a DAY late on our AT&T Cell Phone service. I Mean a full 24 hours late!!! We were driving yesterday with my son who has another provider had the same thing happened to him!

I asked him if this happens often and he said NO - but this was BS. It appears that this eas the first time it had happened to him?

Is anybody else experiencing this? This is BS!

No its not happening to me. Well actually I don' get any messages:( I on one of those plans where I take what they give me. I only have to pay for the calls I make. And I make very few calls.

I have a Nextel work phone, and sometimes I get messages a day later. Doesn't happen very often, but it has. Happened a couple of days ago.

I have Verizon, and I have a problem lately with calls dropping during the first minute. Then, sometimes, the phone will beep & indicate a voice mail, but it never rang. I guess the caller was taken directly to voice mail. I've had that happen quite a bit. I call customer service & raise hell all the time, & they are pretty good about giving me credits for the hassel. Last week I called & complained, & got $50. 00 of this month's bill, & last year they gave my wife & me each 100 bonus minutes for an entire year! sometimes my wife's phone will lock up & won't send or recieve calls. They recommended she shut it down, & pull the battery for a minute or so, & it clear's the memory, which freezes up. It always works after that. It's more likely to happen with color screen models.

I have AT$T and it happens all the time. I travel in and out of service areas all the time and I think that is why. Especially when I get out of digital areas. Last week I had one message that was 3 days late.

They tell me this is what causes the problem

I've been turning off, or ending the message wrong. The (IT) person told me that I must end the message service by hitting the STAR Key - and don't just end the call. He told me that the way I've been doing it has a tendency to get the internal clock of the phone and the service out of whack - a little bit at a time. It eventually causes this problem.

He gave me a sequence to supposedily correct this problem. I'll see if it does.

dont use cingular if you want your messages in the same week! they tried to tell me it was the way I used the phone!! I took there little tutorial and guess what I was doing the whole hang up and all As they said Is proper. I thought maybe it was just my Area which is highly populated how bout you others are you in populated areas? :)
