I had Alpha-liner (Armatuff) put on the bed of my truck and I've been pleased with the durability and UV protection. The surface is not as abrasive as Rhino or Line-X. Alpha was also a bit cheaper than the others.
I got it done at Line-X of Ft. Worth, it is right off of Loop 820 just south of Northeast Mall. I don't remember the street address off the top of my head, will see if I have it written down somewhere.
I got Alpha Liner. I had a long talk with the installer until I was was comfortable that he understood that preparation is everything! I also did a bunch of parking lot shopping, that is, checking out various liner material. I found that Alpha Liner is somewhere in between Rhino and Line-X on the hardness scale. Not too abrasive, not to grippy, just right. After 6 months and various loads, it's looking good so far. I was talked out of colors and now I think the black looks great.
There's 3 things you need to know about spray in bed liners:
Not only do I have a line-X and really like it, I had my dealer use a stencil to put a ram logo in the bed of my truck. Check out my reader's rigs photo album for pictures. Picture of my truck bed. Sorry it's not a real hi res photo... But it looks really kewl.
I love my line-x. I met a guy at the place that did mine also and hey liked it so much he had his entire jeep body (inside and out) lined with it. He declined to tell me how much he spent for that.
I lined the entire underside of my Jeep with black Durabak and the whole interior with blue. It is GOOD stuff and sticks. Its not as pretty and consistant looking as Line-x, tho. .
