Arizona ball joints

I have the dreaded ball joint problem. Has anyone in the Phoenix area had them replaced by a dealer that was any good? Or would I be better off buying aftermarket and finding a small shop to replace them. Only 47,000 miles.

Dang, them things wore out quick! I had 142000 on mine and only one was a bit worn. I did all 4 while I was at it though.



Could do it yourself... about a day's worth of worth if you take your time and never have done it before. Looking at about $60 a side for the ball joints.

Are you sure it's the ball joints? I had a nasty rattle at 46000 that ended up being a sway bar end link that was shot.

Before you do this check to see if Moog now has replacement ball joints for our CTD's.
