Places to dyno near CA/Oregon border?

Anyone in northern CA?

Observations on how to tell the difference between commercial tags and non. My tags start with the letters CB and 5 numbers. All our work trucks (f350 and f450) have CC or CD and 5 numbers. Most cars and trucks up to 3/4 ton have the numbers first and then letters. Just a guess, but I assume that's how the cops tell the difference.

Yesterday we where working along I-10 just west of town. In a 5 mile section there where 10 commercial DPS units pulling over trucks all day long. The heavy tow trucks where having a field day with all the red tagged semi's. Then on the evening news it said there where about 40 units working I-19 towards the Mexican boarder.

I think they are getting ready for the day when the Mexican truckers are allowed to travel farther into the country. This way the DPS can say, no we are not stepping up inspections. We've been doing this way before.

Yes they were certainly working I-19 today. From Valencia to Amado. At least 40 units pulling over everything in sight. Unfortunately that picture is an actual scene from a ranch north of us. They had passed by us about 1/2 hour earlier. Happens daily. Crazy world. Sorry for off topic.

Now that they let Mexican trucks go down I-19, they are going to be all over the place. I know first hand what some of the mexican semis look like, I sold ours to them when we were done with them. Poor brakes, smoking motor, bald tires, the list goes on. Are they really worried about my mud flaps? I can understand a dually, but a single rear truck is absurd.

That answered my guestion how DPS tells the diff!!!Oo.
