Arizona vehicle registration

I just heard on the radio today (01/14/04) that some politician from chandler wants to change the registration fee for vehicles from the present value of vehicle to a weight/mileage numbers to penalize people with SUV's, trucks and the like so that they will buy more fuel efficient vehicles. This should go over well with large families and RV enthusiasts. There's one born every minute. Arizonans beware.
