I looked at them pretty close (4 trips to the dealer, 2 of which were spent looking things over pretty closely). I think they are one of the best built toy haulers out there. I would most likely have bought a Desert Fox if I had not found the Rage'N SS2400. The floor plan fit my needs better. The Rage'N is very good buildl quality as well (equal to the DF in my opinion), slightly better cabinetry and upholstery.

All in all, I would say the DF is a very good value.

We looked at the Desert fox toyhaulers at least five or six times. I really wanted one. I have read nothing but good things about them, mostly from Klenger.

Like DaughertyD we went with a Ragen toyhauler 21 feet. It was a spur of the moment thing on my wifes part, when she said yes I did not want to giver her a chance to change her mind. We are very happy with the trailer. Yes their web site SUCKS.

I do not think you could go wrong with the Desert fox or the Ragen just find a good dealer.

Ours is a 2006 FB2100

I have the new Desert Fox 30-5J. A 30' 5 ver. Very nice. Only complaint so far is too many heating ducts near the thermostat, causing the heater to cycle. Pulls nice and has a TON of cabinet space.

We have a good friend that travels with us to most of our races and he has an 04 Desert Fox. I believe these are the sister to the Artic Fox. I like some of the exterior features like the scare lights on all sides, flush kit on waste tanks and outside radio. it has a fully enclosed underside and insulated too.

Now for the bad: The ramp door is totally cheesy, you have to use these ugly rusty things to stop it from hitting the ground and then carry around the extensions (two alum. ramps) seperate. The fitment is terrible. The screen door and bathroom door both drag on the frames. The steps are wobbly and his table has already de-laminated around the edges. the outside fiberglass is not very smooth either. Ours is like glass his is more like a denim tecture.

I've never been in the bathroom so i cant comment on that portion of it :-laf

The mechanism for the rear (drop down) bed is an malfunction waiting to happen too IMO.

I would rank them low on the scale of quality of construction and high on the features scale.

KZ (New Vision) makes a nice TH'r too.

ON EDIT: He has a 21-SW if that helps
