I might have to take a trip to Nevada. Here the cheapest gas is 2. 81 and cheapest diesel is 3. 11.

I'm not the person to buy/sell vehicles all the time. I buy it and plan on running it until the wheels fall off... and then I'll get some new wheels :D

I thought about getting a ricer car the other day, for daily driver, since my truck is my daily driver. I also have a Jeep, but that gets around 10mpg. But, after I figuring in the cost, insurance, maintence, registration, etc... it wasn't worth it at all.

For the past few months I've been carpooling to work (12 miles 1 way). I take a week, and a guy that I work with, also driving a Cummins Ram 2500, takes the next week.

Call me a fanatic all Ill own Is Mother Mopar. F-150 bragged about there new 300 horse and 365 ft lbs of torque the Hemi is 345/375 just the Fax man. Numbers dont lie :)

I had this problem 1100 for head work, not once but twice and under warranty. Also had two rebuilds in the transmission; a soft rebuild as they called it and then a fully reman trans. Mine was a 1999 5.4 triton though, that kind of spoiled me on fords. Just my own two cents. Sorry I'm not a Dodge owner yet but hopefully in the next 2 weeks. I would prefer a 3rd gen Quad cab 4WD Auto. They just seem to be fairly inexpensive to own and operate or repair when beyond my capabilities. I owned a Duramaxx and was a great truck just made a bad decision to sell it last year and have regretted it since. Toyotas are not trucks either had 2012 Tacoma and 2011 4runner both gutless when heading north on I17 to Prescott. Plus the Dodge does nearly as good with fuel and oil change price wise and I can do most maintenance myself.
