Archived at a total loss. Truck won;t start!!!

ok my buddy's 02 5speed, he had the lift pump in the tank and the edge comp box was sucking FP down to 0, one morning it wouldn;t start at all so i thought the lift pump finially died took the pump out of the tank put the vulcan relocation kit and new lift pump on it. Started and ran fine for about 3 days when it died again. checked the codes and found the injection pump death code. So we put a new injection pump on it. the batteries were dead when we went to start the truck so we pulled it off and it started right up and ran great for about 3 hours, pulled back into the shop letting it idle a bit and it sputter and then a huge cloud of white smoke it cut off. won;t start back and is giving me the codes

Then i put my superchips on his truck to pull the codes and all it pulled a

p1693 companion code.



what is the world is going on?

i have a 2000 sport and when my pump went out i thought it was the lift pump too so i got a fass and they put it on and a new pump but the guy said i had a timing box that is under ther steering wheel
