ATF 4+.... Conventional or Synthetic?

Okay, Googled ATF 4+ trying to find out if 4+ means it is a synthetic product. Wal-Mart has their version of Mopar 4+... I believe the WM oil is made by Mopar as well? Anybody?

Mopar doesn't make anything.



I've checked the labeling on both Mopar (dealer) jugs and those at Wal-mart and the it's identical to the letter. You just can't buy it in gallons at WM. As you know, the cost per gallon is almost half.

I've heard that Mopar ATF+4 is synthetic. Not sure about other brands of +4. The link below confirms, sixth paragraph.
