Opening day for the track, 10:00 - 5:00.



Some of us from SETDR will be there playing. Nothing formal, just a fun day at the track. If you are interested, come on and join us.



I don't have pricing, but it should be normal fees which usually are around $25 for driver and truck, $10 for spectators.

Very uneventful. We didn't have any of the real fast trucks there. The track was not prepped well so the 2wd trucks had a time of it. Mostly very low 13's for them. Even though Jeff wasn't able to hook his street truck, he did manage to get the 111 mph out of it so that was good.



My truck did better than expected. Wanted to see how well the new SunCoast transmission would do, so I left my truck de-tuned and ran it. Bested my previous ET (with 55 more HP) with a lower MPH obviously so it looks like it did a great job transfering the power. I ran a 13. 85 @ 96.



There were many oil downs, one guy hit the wall, etc. (none of the diesel guys) so it made for a long wait in the lanes.



Lots of folks showed up, and that was the best part. We all BS'ed and had a great time.

First weekend is usually rough. I am so used to seeing the great times from your group down there, that I was very curious how it went. Sounds like it was productive, and safe, so thats a good start. Good luck this year.
