Competition Trophies or pay-outs????

If they build it, will you come?

How many of you guys would pull your truck, or build a Smoker to pull Pro if they create a class?

Or just come to watch?

I currently pull my Chevy in the super stock class. I have only pulled my '92 twice in the stock class, once against my '98 in the same class... The '98 took 1st a 2000 Chevy w/ a "300hp v8" took 2nd ,the '92 took 3rd, only 2 feet behind the CHEVY. That was before the '92 was "bombed". This year i think the CUMMINS will take it... . I plan to run third gear... ..... :--) I'm definitely DEEPLY HOOKED !! :D

A class would be great. I get tired of driving a bunch of hours to find out that the person on the phone did not really know if there was a pull and I find out the hard way that there was not a pull. I get frustrated and drive back home with a large fuel bill for nothing. However, there is one thing that always happens that ruins the fun in pulling. Some people let a fun competition turn into a "out-for-blood" sport. I see it and hear it everywhere I pull. After a while, people start to take it too seriously. If they do come up with a class, I hope it is a fair class so that the person with the most (truck, money, etc. ) doesn't shape the class to their benefit. I would hope it would be a good, friendly class where diesel owners with similar interests could meet, share, and have a good time. Have you discussed this with L. Mitchell yet? We talked about it earlier in the year. The class depends on how many of us will pull on a regular schedule. If they can not get enough, they won't even think about a class. Lorretta mentioned that the ATPA wanted them (the Mitchell's) to put on a class so that they (the ATPA) could see how the crowd reacted. If it was pushed hard enough and enough names were got together, they would probably make a class. I think they should make it an open class though so that it would keep things interesting. :D

She told me the same, everyone that would be interested needs to get ahold of Loretta Mitchell so that she can get things moving. Take care!

Yup, exactly boys!

That is all there has been, is discussing.

I thought I would post on several sites and try to get some numbers.

I do believe OPEN is the only way ATPA will do it. They want to see smoke. For the crowd.

The Ford guys don't seem quite so interested.
