Used factory exhaust manifold as an alignment jig for assembling ATS exhaust manifold.

Heated center section in oven to 450º and chilled end piece's in freezer. No resistance to assembly!



Final tuning to ATS exhaust manifold with dead blow hammmer to align with cylinder head mounting holes.

Seven+ weeks getting everything done. Manifold and Turbo Exhaust Housing Porting by Dave Miller, Ceramic Coating, Vibration Proof Fasteners, Drake Lock Nut's, Stud's, and Belleville Spring Washer's. :--)

Do not use the supplied ATS socket head bolt's. The bolt is stressed beyond it's limit's of Elasticity and Placticity.



"Elasticity is the property of a bolt to grow with heat and return to its original length. Placticity is the property of a bolt to be stretched beyond its elastic limit and not be able to return to its original length after a heat cycle. " (RustyJC/rweis)



I installed two stud's with multiple Belleville Spring washer's and Drake lock nut's. Reusing ten of the OEM metal sleeve's with longer bolt's and vibration proof fastener's.



Should be no issue with losing torque.
