It will not develop cracks like the OE exhaust manifold... the 3-piece design precludes this. :D

John....get to bed!

:D I should have said "all of you except John"... ... .

It would look cool to bolt up Piers' turbo to this.

Thanks.....

Don't have one,not really interested in it either, but I do have to admit it looks way cool!

SBurton,

It doesn't lower your EGT's,your turbo is the restriction that causes or improves that.

May I further bore you?

Thanks,

I knew no one would mind. When you get your ATS, immediately check the "bell" fit. Don't force it in if it is tight. My understanding is that the fit should be snug enough to require a rubber mallet to send it "home". If it is loose, stop, call ATS. Perhaps they will return your phone call. Otherwise, expect to have exhaust leakage.

I figure if I complain enough, ATS will return my call. Perhaps they don't read our posts.

The ATS manifold flows 20% better than the OE manifold. I gasket matched mine. I think I noticed quicker spool-up and a little more torque. I love mine.

QRTRHRS,

I had the exact opposite problem with mine. I had to put the ends in the freezer overnight, the middle section in the oven @ 400 degrees and pounded away with a rubber mallet till I was blue in the face and the mallet started to break apart . I never thought I would get it togehter... . lol :D

If you read any of my past rants on this, I like the manifold and blamed myself for not acting timely. It definitely looks better than the old rusty stock one did. I would just like my calls returned. If this was Banks, I would have heard back long ago.

HEMI®Dart,

Reminds me of repairing bulldozer tracks, pins in the freezer, bushings in the oven, or was it the other way around? LOL. I guess they can go both ways.

ATS Manifold

Here is a pic of it put together on the bench.

when hammering in the ends, the distance of the holes from the center piece to the outer pieces has to be the same as the holes that are set in one of the ends. all has to match on distance, then it will fit.

Actually Vaughn, I was bored however, I thought I'd make my point about the ATS exhaust manifold in the same way Scott1 used to when he was bored.

I sure miss those guys... Scott1 (Scott Pirsak and Rob Hanson). :(

PS Vaughn: I could give a RA about the "postometer". If I did, I'd have to post every 60 seconds like Kat does or illflem used to. :D (note the date I signed up as opposed to theirs)
