hey guys thinking about buying a ats pulseflow exhaust manifold, what are your thought and is it worth the $

They are great units, but spendy. I have heard of them dropping egts slightly, but he big deal is they don't crack as easily as the stock piece.

I installed one on mine and the stock one looks pitiful in comparison. I did it for the pre-tapped pyro and the fact I tow heavy and wanted it for the reliability and better heat absorbtion. Do it for reliability and not for a huge power gain. Rather inexpensive upgrade to further bullet proof the cummins and replace the weak DC part the was installed just to get it out the door. Expect around a 50 degree drop in EGT's.

jbee was there any gain in throttle response or any more help with turbo lag or just what you said durabilty

With my Bullydog, it's hard to distinguish just how much throttle response or turbo lag it may have helped with. It wasn't like it added so much I was like "WOW, what a difference". It's a hard one to measure unless I had a stock feel, then installed it afterwards. I noticed more low end pulling power with the banks intercooler and EGT's dropped 150-200 degrees.
