ATS new turbo

Anybody going to talk about the new turbo coming from ATS??



They "revealed" it at their get together a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't seen any discussion on here. I'm talking about the turbo that had two passages for the exhaust, with a spring loaded diverter to maximize drive pressure.



I'd love to hear what the turbo guru's think.

They were saying it would support 600 horse, AND be daily driveable, possibly even tow with it.

A few more details about the ATS VGT I absorbed during the ATS summit. The turbo cartridge is a Borg Warner from a CAT application, is designed for a 60 psi working pressure (5:1 PR). Spool-up is reported as good as the 9cm housing on the 3rd gen's but will also flow enough to support 500+ HP.

I'd suggest contacting Scotty of the air systems. I've heard he has more info on these chargers. Maybe even some experience?

They were saying, but not officially saying hopefully around $2500, but that would include the new manifold with the larger flange.

Does Scotty have one?? I was under the impression that this was all brand new stuff from ATS, with only a few in testing???

I dunno. You'd have to talk to the man himself. He mentioned that he had heard rumors of ATS developing some new stuff. You'll need to contact him to find out what he does or doesn't know.
