EDGE power /DYNO day ?

That dyno shop sucked last year, they didn't know what the heck they were doing, used to dynoing gassers I guess. I watched them then said no way :(

I can admit, I am loosing sleep over what the Scheid Dragster is gonna do next weekend. Not to mention the exhibition pull-off between BBD and Scheid, that will be a sight to see! :D Oo.

Joe, now that is funny right there, pull off, it won't be close that thing is a beast !!!!



Not to mention its before the money pull, so I have to decide if I want to risk breaking and putting myself out of the money :( Wouldn't be that way if the Exhibition pulls were at the end like most pulls, Hint, Hint, Hint, Mr. Craig. I wouldn't even think about pulling a second time then :D

Dyno

What time did you dyno Neil?

I was there first thing that morning and pulled 320HP and 750ft. lbs with my manual, but was curious on the autos as well who obviously had more power with their mods. - JGheen

I think I was there late, didn't get to see any other trucks go. But I did hear some discouraging stories about how it wasn't a good diesel dyno facility, especially for autos. I'm not competitive and don't put much stock in numbers. They're interesting points of reference, not absolutes. BTW, my torque number 580 - what's up with that? I got some new parts since last year and am curious to get an idea of the difference using a similar measuring stick (then I can update my sig ;)). The important fact is that I'm happy with the way my truck runs :D

Joe, Craig said there was another exhibition class at the end, so yeah I will let it all hang out in that class :) but they have way more power then I have. You will see that.

Thanks, but oh it is, I have seen those trucks before up close, not even the same animal. Heck I could change my clutch and bring the fuel back and still drive it on the street if need be, not those beasts, they are literally guted in side custom dashes, 4 and 5 disc clutches, drop boxes, reversers, miltary axles, huge turbo's, lots of water injection etc...
 
Oh come on BBD you have the advatage/ remember your running the proper altitude air in your tires. who knows were these guys got there air :D

are you going to run your boggers on the clay?
