okay well the transmission works perfect just needed about 20 quarts of fluid, but, i can't lock into 4wd anymore, the transfer case will switch into 4wl but the front wheels don't lock, and when i accelerate in 2wd it feels like i'm in 4wh, but i'm not, and for some reason i can't switch the transfer case into 4wh won't pull back that far, and, the 4wd light doens't come on anymore? anyone know whats wrong?? on a light note, the install went pretty smoothly took about 14 hours total, with a few minor set backs, not bad fora 21 year old kragen worker eh? lol anyways let me know soon i gotta go to work in 40 minutes, thanks later

okay well there are no kinks but two hoses a greenish one and a greyish one that comes out of the top of the transfer case along with the red and black one, but the green and grey one lead up to the drivers side fender, but don't connect to anything are they both vent tubes? or are they supposed to connect to something the grey one has a nipple on the end like its supposed to connect to something else but i couldn't find anything up there

I just crawled under and checked mine. All four are in a bundle that splits about a foot up. The red and black ones go to the hard lines on the transmission crossmember and the other two head up the fender well like yours. I could see a nipple on one(not connected to anything) but couldn't make out the color. Hope this helps a little. Also, check and make sure the lines on the front axle disconnect are hooked up. Duplicate post from the 911 thread

In regards to your 4wd problem thread, and the whining here, it sounds like you have your vacuum lines crossed for the 4wd. The 4 port rubber plug on top of the transfer case only goes on one way, but can be forced on wrong. Pull it and check to make sure.

The RED and BLACK lines that connect to the metal lines should be reasonably error proof, since one is longer than the other at the connection end. I. E. The long hard line should connect to the shorter of the plastic vacuum lines on both ends.

i'll try pulling out the plug in a little bit, but i'm almost positive i got it right, because the plug has two notches it in the side and i plugged it in with the two notches going over the guides on the transfer case, i guess i'll try it again, one more quesiton on the transmission, the plug with about 10 wires, what is taht one for, its plugged in, but i can't quite get it to click into place, no matter how hard i push, but its down as far as i can get it and doesn't pull out
