Stakeman- I was on the BD website and it said the torq-loc is supposed to unlock at 30mph so it won't kill the motor.

What kind of valvebody do you have Stake? The valvebody also makes a difference, depending if you can lockup in 1st or 2nd.

Its not the VB.



The reason I say its the ABS is because I have to set it for a 60 mph lock-up to get it to lock-up at 30 mph. Doesn't the ABS use twice as many pulses?

Make sure you tie into the wht/or wire at the PCM.

This was fun...



ON wet pavement (or dry... your call) get the tires spinning and when you go over the set lockup speed, the transmission will lock up and start spinning the tires real good. As soon as the tires slow down, the transmission will unlock, and slow down to match the speed of the truck.



This happened to me yesterday on a wet road for the first time. Remember, as long as the rear tires are going over the lockup speed, the transmission will lock up regardless if the rest of the truck is sitting still.

VALVE BODY

CAN THIS CONTROLER BE USED WITH OTHER VALVE BODIES? I ALREADY HAVE A "TRANS BUDDY" SHIFT KIT AND AM IN NEED OF A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER. THIS CONTROLER SOUNDS LIKE IT WOULD BE HANDY.
