High Idle via solenoid, NOT PTO connection

Pro-loc triple trans. ATS please also respond

WOW-What a difference. I want to thank the people at TDR who gave some good information on this product, along with others. My 2002 2500 only had approx 10,000 miles on it at the time I decided to upgrade with the ATS Triple Lock TC, Valve Body, Triple Lock Commmander, and Double Deep Mag-HyTec Trans Pan. On a couple of occasions the stock trans showed the old TC shutter.

After the upgrade the shift points are perfect, keeping positive hookup in the power range of the CTD. Nice and firm. It's also nice to be able to dial in the torque converter lockup basically anywhere you want between 18mph and 55mph. I look forward to putting the new camper in the bed as soon as the snow melts without wondering about the trans longevity. My thanks to Clint and Joel both who knows what goes on inside of a transmission. All of the people at ATS were very helpful in getting all my questions answered before, during and after the purchase of their products.

Ain't it great!:D

I love my ATS. It is the best thing I've even done to my truck.

I agree about Clint & Co. giving great Customer Service. They just worked smart, hard and diligently to get me in and out 2 years ago when I got my Stage IV.

Congrats CH! I can't wait to have the that feeling of a worry free transmission. My DTT parts should be here next week Oo.

I'll have to swing by for test ride to ease my nerves... . BTW, that Trip-lock Commander sounds awesome.

Glad to hear you are happy Crazy Horse. I love my ATS as well, their products are first class in my opinion. Did you drive all the way from Alaska to CO to have the transmission done?

No I had it done here at Anchorage Dodge Chrysler. They have a great service dept, and their trans mechanics nows the 47RE inside and out.

I do plan on seeing the people at ATS next year while out on the "Road Trip 2" .

Hey Crazy Horse roughly how much did it cost to ship the whole works up to AK and have it installed? This is one of the mods I want to do on my truck in the future.

thanks

mediccummin,

The parts are worth their price. After having the upgrade complete and driving for a few days with the Commander this upgrade is like going from a 360 gas engine to a Cummins Turbo Diesel with 300hp :) .

The 2nd day UPS shipping on the parts to Anchorage cost about $360 which included the return core parts.

Nothing meant by it. I still plan on getting my ATS also, just wish I would of done it already, would have saved a bunch of money. Shipping to CA. was $550 about 6 months ago. Total price was around 6k now it is more. I need it bad for my HP.

Does anyone know if they have come up with any more or other installers in so. cal. yet??????

I agree the people at ATS are super. I have been driving with ATS for almost two years now and it's so nice to be pulled back in he seat when I get on it. I just can't make it slip.

PS. It still puts a big :D on my face.

Shipping is much cheaper now. And give us a call for a list of dealers in So Ca

Chad,

This is one of my long term projects. I am hoping to have it done within the next year or so. Finances play a big role in this. I am however, still interested in finding out the cost of shipping for a stage iv as my truck has over 80,700 miles on it and I don't know how it was driven before I got it.

Bellflower Transmission in Bellflower, Cal. 562-867-5240

They have been in business many years.

Larry, the owner started working in the shop as a teenager when his Dad owned it. They are good people, and VERY professional and have been installing ATS Upgrades since Sept. of 2002 I think. I spoke with Larry a few days ago about something else, and he mentioned they do about 2-3 ATS Installations every week. They are very familiar with what is needed.
