This ATS manifold is a real nice piece, and the runner design for 4 and 5 is superior to stock. Craftsmanship is very high. Truck actually sounds a bit louder, probably due to the better runner design.



I recommend it highly.
 
I done one on her truck and it made the it spool quite a bit quicker, and the egt's are about 100 degrees cooler under a load, not much different empty though.

Have you ever seen a cut-away of the stock & ATS manifolds?



On the stock manifold, each cylinder has its own runner except for 4 & 5, where one starts off with ist own runner then dumps into the other where they then share a common runner. The hole where one dumps into the other is not very large. When you compare the two, the ATS has a very convincing, visual argument.

Am I correct is assuming that each port has only 3 cylinders connected to it?



And that they are not blended somewhat together...

I like the way they look, they should cool a little better. I ordered and payed for one from a guy that used to live in Jeff City Mo. he had a real nice deisel shop with a dyno, seemed very knowledgable on the cummins. He move to PA, he won't return my calls or emails. I know he probably still reads this, so if you see this you need to get hold of me concerning the manifold. If anyone in PA has a guy that moved there from MO doing work for you, beware, get the parts or services before cash changes hands. If any of you want his name send me a pm.
