How did you folks do this? drill though the floor? or have a nice trick to attach it though just the carpet?

I'm ordering some audio stuff via my work for a good price. decided not to deal with all the dyno-matting just yet. I have a weekend project! w00t! :)

I've always screwed them right thru the floor. I coat the screws with silicone and have never had a leak. And, always use stainless hardware.

I installed mine under the rear seat. I didn't want a bunch of screw holes all over back there and besides the floor is not perfectly flat. I also wanted the amps to be able to have more air circulation under them so I mounted them on some scrap pieces of siding material with one bolt in the center of each board. Its not pretty or fancy but it gets the job done. Here is a picture: Picasa Web Albums - Mark - Truck Stuff

You might laugh at this, but I simply used some HD velcro... it will stick fine to both the carpet (adhesive) and the bottom of the amp. I have yet to have it move on me... no holes, no drilling.

Same here. I use velcro in both of my trucks and I have never had a problem. Works great.

On mine I put the amps and crossovers behind the back seat. There's room if they aren't too big. I fastened brackets on that brace that goes around so as not to drill holes thru the back of the cab. It makes the seat hard to get back in but also makes it really hard if someone is thinking about stealing your stuff. I used velcro for the crossovers.
