Well it's happening again, the bug that is. I always wanted a 500hp truck and now that I have it... what would 6-650 be like? I love the way my truck runs now and hate to go too far if there is such a thing:-laf. I was thinking maybe some m-6's or 7's and a II silver 66 or 64. What are you guys having success with? I realize at some point it becomes more of a toy than anything else, but I still get great mileage now and stay cool while towing everyday(about 5k). Would those big sticks get too hot? Just curious what's working for you guys. Thanks again!

6's and a 66 would be to hot to tow with the box on and without you wouldnt spool till very late! If this is your desire look at somthing like a 62/b2 twin!
600 Hp is still hot!
I made 599 with 6's and a sps66.
636 with same setup and water!

With a single , I would consider eaither a sps66 (above 600 hp) or a 64/14!
A set of 6's and a touch of water :) thats a pretty easy setup for 600! the 64 might make it a tougher job to get 600

I wonder if a silver 62 would do the trick. . supposed to take 650?

With my sig it yielded me 531 hp but that was with a choked intake. I have since installed an AFE stg 2 dry and BD boots and an ATS arc flow intake. I will be dynoing at the NHRDA event in Billings on june 8. The silver 62 is supposed to handle that hp with nitrous. I think 600 hp on fuel only would be easy though. Some say that the silver 62 would be to small with anything more than 150 injectors but having run this for several months I have to disagree. The BD 155's on the last dyno hit 1300 after holding the brake for about 5 seconds "An experiment to see if it would load and spool the turbo different. It didn't make a difference it spools well". I tow heavy and it stays at the 1000-1100 consistant under load and 800-900 on the flats loaded. It hits 1250 going into od and lockup for a couple seconds under normal daily driving if the turbo isn't spooled. If in the throttle harder it will keep lower.

I think Mach 5's would be a perfect match for this turbo.

Don't overlook the HTT QuickDiesel64 series... obviously I am a long way from 600hp, but am leaning toward this turbo with the 13cm^2 stainless steel housing (lower EGT's, sexy looking, and nearly no surge... . ). There is a 16cm^2 housing for same turbo which I believe will support 600hp

yeah I'm keeping my options open. . just been so damn pleased with the sps62 it's hard to change. I also don't want to mess up a good thing. Truck runs great now... stupid, stupid slope oh why do you have to be so slick:-laf
