Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I figured I better post this now so anyone interested can start planning.
On Firday, September 15th is The Eve of Destruction, an event at Wisconsin International Raceway near Kaukauna, WI. This includes trailer figure 8 races, bus figure 8 races, jet car melt downs, an event where the passenger controls the throttle and brake in a figure 8 race, and more. This is a really good time and sells out quickly. If you've never been to an event like this, I highly recommend it. I've seen a lot of people that wouldn't consider going to an oval race giggle through out most of the show.

Seating is general admission (first come first served) so we head over around 2:00 PM and tape blankets to the seats then head out to the parking lot to tailgate.
There is camping available on site (no hookups) which I recommend for out of towners because unless you leave early, it can take a couple hours to get out of the parking lot. We usually bring soda and sandwiches and hang out until the crowd is gone. There are no caryins allowed into the track area but the parking area is still bring your own.
I will post when the tickets go onsale and the options for getting them when the info becomes available.
