ohio pulls

Somebody pick a date and locale and we'll go from there. The secret handshake can't be discussed here without the thread being shutdown.

How about Buffalo Wild Wings New Berlin, WI

How's Sunday the 14th of May 1200pm, we can do Buffalo Wild Wings on Moorland Road off of I-43 south (New Berlin) towards Janesville. I can get an address and directions. Let me know.

It's time for another gathering. Let's get some dates and locations posted. My choice would be the East side of Wisconsin, late May early June.

This is open to all members, but you won't be an official member of the Cheeseheads unless you learn the secret handshake.

Paul

Original post started with East side of Wisconsin. ;)

Oh I didn't notice that. Sorry. If you will have a boy from Central Wisconsin I will try to make it. Matt are you going to Big Flats? I go right down Hwy c on the way to Castle Rock Lake for work. I bet there will be some sweet hillbilly rigs there.

I'd really like to go - I even have the Old Lady interested in attending. We're definitely going up to Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI for the school bus races (dirt circle track) on the 20th of May (link to schedule... )!

Is nothng sacred? :p

That event Matt posted looks like the funnest thing a grownup could do! Dash for cash in the mud? That's my kinda competition! Oo. I'm starting to think I live on the wrong side of this great country...

Friday May 12th and Monday Memorial Day are both race dates at the Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove. And YES, you CAN do endurance testing there without being hassled by the local fuzz. :-laf It would be nice to see a big turn out.

Why do you think I moved to WI from the East Coast?! I LOVE it out here. If you can't find something to do, you're probably deceased.

WI HUCK

You gonna pull at the local fairs this year?

This is going to be a crazy fun summer! If you have not heard, the Badger Truck Pullers Association has adopted a diesel truck class. We did this to take things to the next level around here. The DHRA Super-Street class rules were adopted so that a person could run the same truck all over the country. The Super-Street is twin turbos or less, with no nitrous and propane. We can have hanging weights in the front and traction bars. There were some complaints from people around here about trucks that were not stock competing in the “stock” class. This allows us to build our trucks right and have more fun! I don’t know of many trucks that would run in that class at places like Indy around here, but we wanted to set the bar high to give everyone something to build up to. Our “Diesel Fest” this year is again combining drag racing (Friday June 9th) and pulling (Saturday June 10th) at the “Challenge of Power” event at the Racine fairgrounds, which just happens to be a DHRA pull! :D It will be awesome! I have rule sheets and applications for the BTPA if anyone is interested.

I take it the 7th sounds good for everyone? Is the resturant choice ok? I have another place in mind that has a great variety and a great price for the quanity, they just opened a few weeks back... Castillo's Family Restaurant. Either way I wanna have a idea of number attending so I can call ahead for the room. Paul where did you go... . ?
