P. S. I liked the pics of that little truck pulling you backwards with the strap. That was to funny.

I won another one, and rapped up a points series, but now I have suspension issues. Will it never end?

ya funny pics. haha

Sorry guys, I have been out of town for a few days. The pulls are the first weekend in August in De Leon Texas. It isn't just a truck pull, they have eveyrthing from stock tractors, too antique tractors, and tractors with Jet engines. IF you want more info, call me at 254 592 1831, I won't be around the computer for a few days.

Relatively unknown on the TDR, but very well known & recommended in the Midwest diesel truck circles.

Well things are looking good for work that I will be off, and may be able to make this event. Who all WILL FOR SURE be there? It's either this or the Schulenburg Festival. :D

TxDieselKid, I thought the Schulenburg festival was the weekend before the pulls, I know Pat Green playin down there, I was gonna make that also.

Only one way to solve this, a quick trip over to www.patgreen.com.

Well that was fast, the Schulenburg Fest is 8/2/2002. That's off of Green's site. Choices choices choices.

Andrew, the pulls are the weekend after that. SLewis sent me a PM saying that it is the 8, 9, and 10th of August. So does this make it any easier? I don't want you to miss Pat. :)

Ok guy's, after reading this thread and thinking about it for a few day's I desided to jump in and get my feet wet. It's not often you here of a sled pull in Texas. So why not give it a shot. I desided to take the following week for a vacation. this would give me plenty of time to fix broken trucks if needed. Brian, Dean (Weircummin) and my self will see if we can do some real damage to them other boys. I think dean is foaming at the mouth for a two wheel drive class. We will see.

Actually, no that makes it imposible because that weekend marks 2 years with the girlfriend, and since we went to Munice this year together, I doubt she would be willing to goto another "truck thing", esp on THAT date. :(

Andrew

Drew: I convinced my GF to go to sand-drags on her birthday... . which is more important to her than our anniversary... . seeing as we don't really have an official date we can call our own. Maybe I'll convince her that our official date is the day my Cummins was made!! :-laf
