I just finished a full tank of fuel since I installed the rubber grommet around the 4. 5 hole that I bored in the firewall. This grommet takes up the space between the nose of air induction case and the opening of the hole. It makes a real snug fit, and it also makes it a real clean install.
My driving did not change on this tank, everything was the same, execpt the mileage!! I gained nearly 1 mpg, I checked it twice to make sure that it was correct.
If you have installed the induction system and have not put the grommet around it,,DO IT!!! The grommet is from around the tail lights on the big rigs that have the 4. 5" tail lights.
