Hey ya'll, I was a little off on my first post about how far away i was. I was thinking of Charelston Mo. That was only about a 130 mile mistake, but i still may try to make it there. Just have to wait and see.

Hey Steve, Kenny and I will be there on the 9th. Do they have an area where we can do BURNOUTS #ad #ad #ad
Probably not, but I had to ask.
Don A. k. A. Person who needs rear tires.
Rattler; Don't let that stop you. I sent MO. Plowboy farther off course than that just trying to find our first meeting. Guys, sounds like it will be a good turnout. Joe, the more, the merrier. There's a large shopping mall just a few miles away if spouses/family would prefer to christmas shop or catch a movie while we're talking diesels. Also, remember they won't throw us out if we decide to stay longer. Food's good, too!Bring some friends or family. Maybe we can get a mythical duramax to show up. With a few F**d guys coming,we gotta have something to poke fun at!See you there.
Hey Shannon! Just think this place may be easier to find and about 45 minutes closer for you! You don't have to make that 5 hour trip this time around!
David, I'm looking foward to the shorter trip this time. Maybe someday we can get together at Jacksonville. (joke) I have also contacted a couple people maybe they will be able to make it this time.
Got a wild hair and thought I'd ask. Would anybody have an interest in eyeballing up-close one of the Duramaxes at the next meeting. I've got a running buddy who is a sales manager at a C***y dealer. If you're interested, let me know. Also, I'll pursue info on how to get an official chapter going. Steve W.
Just to let you know, Chris is going to make it to the gathering. I for one would love to see the Chevy there. I would also like to get something going on a chapter for this area even if it could include Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, etc. , etc.
I just hate it when someone doesn't keep the thread close to the top. I was over in the St. Louis northern area getting fuel tonight and another Ram pulled up behind me. He got out and asked me about my fuel mileage (I don't know what year his is but I do know it was a first generation twelve valve) anyway, I asked him if he was a member of the TDR and he said yes, so I invited him to the gathering on the 9th. He wrote the place and time down in his little black book, so I hope he can make it. I might be pleasantly surprised how many people are going to show up for this event. I think it would be great just to double the last showing!

Hey,guys; Went by the C***y dealer today where my friend works. They had a duramax truck. Odd thing was that this is an 'up-front' pricing dealer, all cars on the lot are marked with their non-negotiable price on the vehicle. The duramax was the only one without a price. I'll contact my friend within a couple of days, ask him what the scoop is and if we can check-out the truck on Dec. 9 for our meeting. Steve W.
It's a go on the duramaxi, guys. Spoke with my friend this afternoon, said they would definitely have one on hand and penciled in the 9th. Test drives, anyone?Around 3PM anyone who is interested can caravan down and check it out. It's only about 5 minutes. Make that 90 seconds for Markcuda and Big DQ. #ad
I would like to look/drive the truck. My truck is for sale, sooo you never know, do you? If'n anybody is interested that have seen the truck or knows someone looking for a one ton send them my way.
Mark your calendars, gentlemen. Under 2 weeks to the next St. Louis/Midwest area TDR meeting on Dec. 9th. I've heard from a # of people who will be in attendance and will e-mail others who are in the 'area',which is pretty widespread. Good food, good company and a Duramaxi to peruse. May even have another surprise for the group. Look forward to seeing everyone and bring or encourage another TDR'er to come along. See you then!Steve Weeks
Michael; Is this the tool that measures pre/post turbo heat? If not, what does it do? Can it turn the dura-maxi into a cummins? If so,bring it! #ad
Other St. Louis are TDR'ers and interested parties, the restaurant has a large parking lot area about to be filled with a bunch of trucks. If you haven't already, put a post on this thread to let others know you're coming. Looks like a great place for the gathering and 'all you can eat' good food, too. See you there!
