Another victum of an auto plate in a 215 pump.
Well, it works & you'll notice the difference, in a big way.

You just may exceed safe EGT with it centered with you're turbo config. You'll have to let us all know.

If you're up to experimenting, why don't you put it in centered to start with & post. Low end won't be as much as it is with it forward, but it's no slouch.
Mine is set 3/4 of the way forward. That's just so that the rack doesn't get caught under it. Another one of those recommendations from the SOTN.

I had the #11 all the way forward & didn't have a problem, so probably won't, but I just started on the safe side. With the 4. 8 @ 3/4 of the way forward, it's one gross/obscene fueler. I've already done the std. things to lower EGT & I can get to 1500 degrees pretty easily.
Great move in my opinion. You can set it to a point of EGT regulation with your right foot until you get 1 of the new killer turbo's. The HX40-16 is not big enough for the 4. 8. I'm going for a new turbo some day & it will have to be between Piers HX40-18, the B1 or H2 variations that Blair & Adam are using.
