What kind of boost gauge? Mechanical or on the TST?

look for an exhaust leak between manifold to turbo and also between turbo to turbo, that will cause high egts and loss of power.

Injector needles and nozzles might have been eroded if you ran very high rail pressures for a long time--you would see low mpg and rough idle; boost hoses could be leaking--the one at the turbo is thin in the middle accordion part and could have worn through if touching anything; intercooler could have a leak.

truck idles good, no smoke, no exhaust leaks, drives like a normal truck, with all the good stuff turned off, has new fuel filter, clean fuel, maybe my tst isnt doing what is supposed to, i am going to trade tst boxes with a friend today and see what happens, i am going to run an overhead and set the valves at 10 on the intake and 20 thous. on the exhaust with a cold engine then i will post back later today with my findings, also, still throwing the usual p0336 code but dont think its the problem, my guages are autometer for boost and pyro, depricol for fuel

well, i ran an overhead and found every rocker out at about 4-6 thousandths this lowered my ex temp at idle about 50 deg, picked up a little power in the bottom, but still have high ex temp with the tst only on 4x4, i can burry my pyro before 90mph at 1600 deg
