Im not talking about transgo or Dunright Shift kited VB's Im talking about SunCoasts Own VB

I am going nto say everyone who have a Suncoast tripple Disk and there custom VB with any performance gainers exspecially Injectors have issues with Engine Stall going into gear after long sets Like over night ect...

I think there VB is leaking fluid into the TC

Who all has a Pro Loc Valve Body and has or dont have this issue ?

I also need a Stock VB if anyone has an extra

Call me if anyone has questions and/or comments as Im tired of fighting this and we may need to start a support group to make sure this dont happen to others

Thanks TDR

The pan not the TC sorry , With talks with The Diesel transmission Pros and ellimentaing every other possibillity this is the only thing left ...

If engine stall occurs after overnight shut down, it indicates that the converter is draining back into the pan. To Qualify: Pull the trans dip stick before startin the engine. Is the level above full by 3 to 4 inches? If yes we have drain back. Now: if the truck is parked for days or weeks, consider this normal. If thi occurs over night, something is wrong. Below are the most common causes.

1. Front pump bushing to torque converter hub has excessive clearance.

2. Front cooler line check ball has been removed or is defective. (It's in the rubber hose at the heat exchanger).

3. If this happens right after trans work, suspect something in the valve body.

Its the only possible demon Seed

DieselMinded, tell us about problems that you had with your previous vehicles. After watching and listening to you for a year or so, I have come to believe that you create more problems than you fix! So say it isn't so! SNOKING

LOL Its a black Cloud if it can go wrong it will , and Im just a squeaking wheel and communicate bad things as well as good

This Single issue has been pleaging me for over a year and others have this problem also most dont say anything about it while others try to gather as much info as they can to discover what the problem is .

And so far for over a year my truck still dies going into D and upon calls to Suncoast and many other TC compaines they say it happens and they dont know a fix for it

And Ive had more problems with this Truck than Ive had on all the other vehicals Ive ever own put togeter and paid 3 times as much for them problems ,

Between Vp44's, Lp's, 53 Blocks, KDP , Apps , TPS, CPS , ECM , transmission , Water Pumps ... . Im starting to think that maybe just maybe these trucks are not as reliable as I once thought

DM

Dunno. I have 162,000 miles on my truck and the engine hasn't been touched other than tabbing the KDP and adjusting the valves.

Just got My 3rd Phone Call about Suncoast Valve Body Owners having issues with Engine Stall When put in Gear

Maybe Im not Nuts ?????

One Guy is doing a test and putting in a Stock VB with the Suncoast TC just to see if this problem goes away if so then we may have an answer for engine stall with transmission work and Engine Bombs , Its possible it may all lie in the Valve Bodies

DM

I wonder if the problem is maybe with the 93% converter vs the 91%. I just had the later installed w/a SC valve body and it works great! Engine mods include 275's and a VA box. This combo shifts crisply not harsh and the power seems to get to the wheels. Next week I'm towing the 5th wheel to Washington for a rally and we'll see how she does towing... . Oo.

Thinking yout loud here, Chad do you have the double deep pan? I wonder if because of the 3d Tc and VB, if you need the extra fluid to keep up...

I'm not sure, I figure since the VB and TC run higher line pressures, that they may require extra fluid. Like I said, I may be off base, but I know lack of fluid can cause a transmission do do all kinds of wonky crap
