This is the message...

Hi Don, I have a set of your Mach 2's in my truck and have had a problem with it stalling. I posted a thread about it a while back and decided to see if the problem worked itself out. It hasn't and somebody else had PM'ed me recently with the same problem. He ended up getting a new set from you and it solved the problem. I was wondering if we could do this also and if I could go ahead pay the difference to upgrade to a Mach 3.

Please let me know.

Thanks

how come he can't post ...

reason i ask is that it's a heck of a note that on this paid forum i can't contact him

but over on the free site (DTR) we can benefit from his expertise

Don M was unwilling to abide by the forum guidelines and after being given many opportunities (on top of the 3 strikes that we eventually resorted to) to change his ways he was booted from the site and given a subscription refund. He is one of approximately 10 people that have been booted from the site in it's history (since 99) for not abiding by the guidelines.

Got it, thanks for the help and please thank Don for the awesome service!

Did this fix your stalling ASTAR?

I'm having the same problem when I go into drive or reverse, it's getting to the point where it's embarrassing/frustrating to even drive it anymore.

I've tried several different fuel sources and additives (Stanadyne, Howes) to no avail.

Fuel pressure is fine and no codes. It didn't start until AK switched over to the winter blend so that's where I assumed the fault was. Never thought it could’ve been the injectors.

I'll see if I can get a hold of Don on the other sites, thanks.

That did it. :D :D I'm all smiles again. The service tech never even heard of this TSB and swore up and down I had a weak LP that wasn't putting out enough pressure at idle  :-laf I bit my tongue and told'em to just do the flash and I'll be on my way.

Thanks for the assistance Bob.

I've had my Don m. hot Mach 3's for almost two years, still run like new. I'm waiting to see what comes out for my Dmax, his injectors would be my first choice. Jim

That is what fixed my truck too while running DD3's. Its a fairly common problem with our crappy winter fuel.

Let me get this straight. We have a guy like Don that is very helpful and knows his stuff and has created some great injctors and we run him off. I understand guidlines and all but are we or are we not paying to be here. Sounds like a homeowners association, you can do what you want when you want as long as big brother approves.
