Where to buy South Bend Clutch?

I talked to Doug Hofeldt the proprieter of Air Bulldog replacement hoods and he indicated that he had sold a no. in the N. W. I would like to see one before I plunk down the money to buy one. Please let me know if you would be willing to let me see your Air Bulldog hood. Also, is there any interest out there in ordering several or going to Pocatello to pick up several. I was told shipping is pretty steep.

I'm no help to you being in Utah but if your interested in looking at more pics then is on Holfedt's web site you can go to mine and I have a few more you can view. Feel free to shoot me an email too if you have any more questions. I'm very happy with mine and, of course, the normal disclaimer here, I'm not connected, don't benefit, blah, blah, blah.

Hey Max, there are about four Air Bulldog hoods here in Washington now [one in Enumclaw (mine)-Black (also the first one), one in Everett-Emerald Green, one in North Bend-White, and one in Auburn (another NW BOMBer)-Patriot Blue], this was accurate as of December 2000. You can see mine at Dyno Days on the 21st. However, if you want to see it sooner let me know and we can arrange something.

I'm real close to having my Air Bulldog induction system components tricked out however, not in time for Dyno Days. #ad
(it seems to take me forever to complete a project) Just wait and see what I've done! (I'll post a pic on here)

All I can say is AWESOME hood! This upgrade is one of ONLY a few that I have made (out of countless thousands) that is an absolute keeper! ABSOLUTELY!

Thanks again Doug, AWESOME PRODUCT! #ad

BTW Max, just after placing my Air Bulldog order with Doug, he stated that if I was not 100% satisfied with the quality of the product or his installation (I went to Pocatello to have Doug install it) he would remove it and refund 100% of my deposit (I had sent him a 1k deposit even though he didn't require one). I'll tell you one thing, Doug produces a very nice product and is one of the very best vendors I've had the pleasure to deal with. I'm a real pain-in-the-a$$ kind of customer... and like at Burger King, I want it my way. Doug addressed every concern I had and modified the NACA ducts on my hood to work with my custom situation.

Hey Chuck, I like the additional upgrades you have made to your Ram recently. I'm not going to May Madness but, does the offer you made last year still stand (just in case I'm in the area)?

Rotohead:
Tried e mailing you w/ some questions but the e mail came back.
1- Noise any difference in the truck?
2- How is the fit and finish of the air ducts? How much interference if you want to work under the hood.
3- Finish under the hood, how good?
Your truck looks great.
Thanks for the response

John, unfortunately I will not be able to go to "dyno days" on the 21st but would really like to see your truck. If you e mail me on how to get in touch with you that would be great. I live just down the road from you in RENTON. email pahmeier@earthlink.net.
Thanks

Max,
Don't know why you can't email me @ rotohead@xmission.com. I've already had four or five inquiries today about the hood. You can try rotohead@gbis.com if the following doesn't answer all your questions.
As to your questions:
1) Noise level in the truck is the same as a stock truck. I still have my silencer ring in and an AMSOIL air filter.
2) Not sure which "air ducts" your refering to as I also have the NACA ducts on the side of the hood but the fit on everything is good. If your refering to the "plumbing" from the air box and on the left side it isn't in the way at all. It's real quick to remove the air box and the only problem I've found was getting to the grid heater relays on the left inner fender and that really wasn't any big problem. The "cooling tube" that forces air from the left scoop down over the intake tube just before the intake manifold is a bit of a pain to remove and re-install because accessing the hose clamps but I have never found the need to remove it.
3) The finish underhood is the same as the exterior. You could polish/wax it and make it look real nice but I usually wait until this time of year to do anything like that.
Hope this helps.
Chuck K
