I remember the first time I loggen on the TDR website and started reading all this crazy stuff about HUGE hp #'s and BOMBING and it all just seemed like a waste. I had less than 200miles on my 01. 5 CTD and couldn't have been happier with it, I thought :p My focus was MPG and what I could do to squeez more out. As I read, and read, and read some more I came up with my current set up, see sig. I just finished putting the trans back in yesterday afternoon. If none of you out there have ever ridden in a bombed truck or better yet driven one, let me tell you from one newbe to another, you cannot fathom what your are missing. I am not exagerating either. Mine is very mild relative to whats on this site, but is still very capable as a daily driver or towing beast. Listen to the hype, unleash the beast beneath your hood. I promise, you will smile from ear to ear. Walk into the light. Don't try to justify spending the money until after you put the items on and then let your truck reward you. Don't be scared:D I love my NEW truck. Another long post, oops!

Still deciding

Just curious as to your mileage with that setup.

And hows it run with the 91% TC

That would be my choice for mild, DD2's and EZ

Wild maybe DD3's and Comp and B1 and ?

Thanks

Scott

Love my 91%

Scott, just put the trans in yesterday so no mpg yet. The 91% is tight, but not in a bad way. With 4. 10s and discs all around, Bills recommendation on the 91% was right on. Go for it scott, it's only money, and you will always make more, can't put a price on happiness.

Just a note: When I say "Mild" I am being humble by the serious BOMBERS out there. Don't think for a second that my rig is mild compared to stock, there is NO comparison. Take the plunge, but try to buy what you want the first time, DD2/DD3, save some $$ in the long run.
