Your atv looks like a Polaris Sportsman. Is it? What motor does it have? I've got an 06 Sportsman 500 and love it, though I've never had it in water/mud as deep as in your pics. Have you had any trouble with crud getting in the belt or ingesting water into the air box? I'd love to try some stuff like that but am a little paranoid about damaging the thing.

its an 07 500 x2. only water has gotten into the pull start which never effected anything except when i forgot to drain it and let it dry this year before it got cold. starter froze and wouldnt kick out and pull start rope rotted... . fixed it all fri night before loading up for the trip. On mine the intakes are up on top of the fuel tank (under the cover) so I never let the water get higher than the top of the seat at most. i like to keep it bottom of the seat which gives me room to splash, wiggle and shake the crap out of it to get it out of the hole i just drove it into...

Mine is also the 500 x2. I guess they would be the same then as far as where the intakes would be, that's good to know. Now I got to go find some mud! Come spring Oklahoma has plenty of that so I'll give it a shot.

I guess the would be the same but take a look to be sure just follow the hosers from the air box and belt cover and see where they go
