I don't know how long I've been missing the audio in my rear doors but noticed about four months ago. OEM Premium sound 7.1 system. Wondering if anyone else has lost the audio in the rear channel also ? I'm going to assume it's an amp issue since both rear L & R are dead.

As a side note, my left electric window would occasionally not roll up either. Then, one day I jiggled / turned the the key off and on and, voila' working again. I was told the key switch module is linked to the computer which controls everything. Contrary to what others have mentioned about wiring harness issues, I'm fairly certain I don't have that.

That'd be broken wires INSIDE the black wire loom going between the b pillar and the door.
The loom unplugs from the pillar side, then roll it back until you find the wires that are broken.
Be aware that SOMETIMES the wire(s) are NOT broken through the outside of the insulation, but are only fatigued inside their jacket…
ion other words, if you cannot see any broken wires, be sure to FEEL along the length of each wore for a stiff section that is indicative of wire fatigue…the stiff and/or broken section of wire(s) will need to be replaced with a section of same gauge, fine strand wire (RC wire is really good to use) and then cut, soldered and heat shrinker into place.

Or you can buy a new door wire harness and replace the whole harness..unfotunately it WILL happen again eventually due to wire fatigue from the repeated open/closeing of the door affecting the exact same part of the wires inside the loom EVERY time. In fact, it can and will happen to each door.

I'm a bit perplexed how both door speakers stopped working at the same time. The right rear door rarely gets opened, driver side does frequently.

It took me a couple of hours start to finish to repair 5 broken wires in rear driver's side door wiring harness. Speaker hasn't worked for years. I popped the door panel off to get some slack in the wires and then soldered in small flexible replacement wire covered by heat shrink. It wasn't as tough as I expected but a third hand would definitely help.
