Edge w/ attitude & Fuel pressure?

Flexplate billet or laminated? Opinions!

I received my Aurora last Thursday and installed it on Friday, went pretty well until time to hookup the downpipe to the exhaust. The downpipe was about 11" too short to reach the first connection on my Magnaflow exhaust and the Magnaflow downpipe is 3. 5", so no cutting and splicing. A last minute run to a local distributor yielded a section of aluminized (yuk, no stainless) steel 4" that I cut down to fit (and yes, I drove the truck with just the downpipe to pick it up, alarms were going off everywhere! :-laf ). I also ended up having to almost completely remove the exhaust to get it back together! Well after doing all this I can say I am happy with the results. I am scratching my head about one thing though, my egt's have stayed pretty much the same as before despite a higher overall boost (max of 42 psi, 37 psi before) and spooling quicker, and I haven't even installed the Jammer 3 tips yet!

The big bonus, the truck is 2. 1 seconds quicker 0-60 now, 7. 4 down from 9. 5! :D Oo.

Me too Jim, did you upgrade yet? I love this turbo, it is right where I want to be, and it will act as a wallet governor (yeah right , I can always upgrade this one to twins). Won't be long and I will be able to stop throwing money into my truck... :-laf

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago. Big difference in performance and lowered my egt's by 180 and boost went to 39. For the money you cant beat this turbo!!!
