Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Aurora 2000 or Snow kit?

More power would be nice but I really want a temp decrease. I can peg my pyro on 5X5 with a long enough pull. But I would like to keep my exhaust brake too and still have the quick spool up. Brake could be sold and a new one put inline I guess. 500$ for a snow is looking a bit better, but I can get a 2000 for about 900$ too. Any experience?

To me the turbo would be the way to go and the water injection in your situation is just a band aid. You could do the turbo and then add the H2O just for a little more kick. I vote for the turbo but with a new brake and everything it's gonna cost you 3 times as much as the water injection.

Agreed. The turbo should definitely be first. It will allow you to make more power effectively over the long-term. Water/meth is great, IMHO it doesn't present the best solution to daily driving.



That said, I'm sure it could work in this capacity, but I would still recommend the turbo first.

I'm looking into a new turbo as well. Probably not the 2000.
