Yeah thanks.

I called ATS today and found out that it does not have a HX35 flange on it and won't work with the exhaust brake. I misunderstood the description on their website. It requires a flange piece to mate the turbo flange to the exhaust pipe, which I assume replaces the stock turbo exhaust elbow.

Old news to some I know.

FWIW I remembered another thing the guy at ATS told me and the case some one is still interested in these line of turbos. There is a newer model Aurora out or soon to be. Not sure what it is called, the Aurora 3000 or some such. Supposed to be like a 2000 on steroids.

I think is is the aurora MST?? I bet they really struggle to bring it to market. I think they will have issues getting the flapper, to not cause surging issues.

Like you said it might be old news, since they have been working on it for over 3 years and still not much further along. Makes me think something is up.

Hmm... . No I asked about that Z, this one is a like a 2000 but moves a bit more air. According to the guy (Matt) I talked to, he reccomended I buy that one vs the 2000. It sells for only couple hundred or so more than the 2000.

Its all a mute point for me at this stage anyways.

OK no problem. The MST could have a lot of potential, but I think it won't be a no maintenance turbo. I see the flapper wanting to flutter for a better word. Which I thin will cause the the truck to want to surge. I think they will have to dampen the flapper, and the dampening device will be what needs the maintenance. I could be way off base, I am just trying to think through this in my head. I waw really excited when I first saw pictures of it, but that has been several years ago, kinda makes me think it is dead. The bigger charger they produce is probably got a larger turbine wheel in it, like HTT and II are using. I personally would just go with either an HTT or an II cahrger.
