iirc, in ontario, canada. . our trucks are allowed to get up to the 140,000 weight. . goverment says it damages the roads less than 2 trucks hauling half the weight... so that's why they allow it.

Doc, did they say what the total weight is on these big rigs?That 6 unit bulk hauler has to be up around 500,000 lbs. Wonder how far it takes for them to stop one of these rigs?

That would be a MESS if it Jacknifed. ONE trailer jacknifed ties up traffic for hours, imagine 5!

In the states yes, but where these are used, there's no traffic! None.....
