Keillor sues neighbor to block addition
This whole deal is a joke. Garrison Keillor, a very well known author that lives in St. Paul, MN is acting like a 4yr old, and if you ask me, he has no right to do ANYTHING in this case but sit back and whine about it. Its been all over the news and radio lately, and if he wasnt such a big liberal figure here in MN, nothing would have been said about it. Turns out also, that it just so happens that the contractor for this job is non-other than... my uncle! Small world. Sucks for him, as the job has been halted, and this was his job he had lined up for the winter, and has been sitting idle now for nearly a month. It would have been capped off by now, but due to the halt, its foundation is now full of snow and ice. If I was my uncle, I would sue Garrison Keillors pants off when its found he had no merits to halt the construction, and get him for lost wages. Hit him back with a little of his own medicine! Problem is, my uncle is just like Olsen ( the home owner) and just to nice and probably wont do anything. I just dont get pompass idiots like this, WHY should you have any say in what your neighbor builds on THIER property? Its not like they are building a damn skyscraper. I know my uncle, and I know damn well that his design will completely comply and fit the neighborhood, he is very good at that, and the style homes up there are his specialty.
