#@$%! Can anyone recommend an Auto Body Shop in or near Glendale, CA? While out camping over the New Years weekend I dented my bed rail at the rear of the bed by punching it with the underside of my fifth wheel. It put a dent in the rail right where the stake pocket is - undoubtedly making it about twice as expensive to fix!

Like most of you, I won't be happy unless it's perfect. Might do some custom paint work too while I'm at it, so I need a really good place...

When I lived in Pasadena I had a fantastic experience with McGurdy's. They were on Green Street but have since moved. I also know of three or four other folks (a few of whom I've refered who have also had a great experience with them.

Tell them Sebastiaan sent you - I wouldn't be surprised if they remember me... . I know they are on a first name basis with my Mom by now!

I've had great repairs done at Car Body Repair too.

They were recommended to me by the "boys" at Western Tire. If Bryan, Ed or Bruce will recommend somebody they are the best in the area.

They are a little slow but the work has always been first class. It's 35 miles away from my house but they have always been worth it.

My experiences with ANY auto body shop is this..... Don't have HIGH expectations!
I just had to replace my tailgate on my '07. Went to the PREMEIR body shop in my county. (Does Porsches, MBZ's ... you get the picture) I asked him before I commited to the job about paint matching. NO PROBLEMO he said. Called me a week later and said that my tailgate was done. I went there and the paint wasn't even close in color. Mind that my truck is Inferno red. Well they did repaint it, it matches as close as you can get.

You don't say what color truck you have. If you have a popular color, have you looked into a "take off" bed?
