Hate 'em. So I turned mine off per the owner's manual.
Mom likes 'em and she got mad a me for turning hers off. But I didn't. I service her truck and thought I might have done it accidentally, but they won't reset. I've tried many times. Our theory is that the lightning that damaged some stuff at her house may have smoked something.
A friend with a Durango--wants hers turned off. So I told her how. She tried and it didn't work. I said let me do it. I did it and it worked great until KEY OFF and back on. They reset to the auto-lock everytime you turn it off and back on.
Ideas?
