Selling a guitar, what's it worth?

Warning to all men

OK - I am looking at checking into getting new insurance - mine's been great but I think I want to know if I'm paying to much... ... . no tickets or major accidents..... thoughts

28, single, no accidents or chargable tickets in the last 5 years.

Been with State Farm for over 10 years---very satisfied with the rates and coverage. I had a huge claim on our house last year that was paid very quickly without any hassle, and my rates have yet to reflect any increases. A++

The chargable tickets comments is due to State Farm's policy where minor traffic infractions (speeding <10mph over, blinkers, rolling stops, etc) aren't charged to your policy. Well, at least my agent does this--your results may vary.

I have multi-line with State Farm--home, rental, auto, life, and banking. The discounts are fantastic!

I really like my agent, too, which is a benefit. A sour agent can ruin even the best insurance policy/experience.

Dan-

I have had alstate for 20 years. I am always checking other companys but alstate prices always seem to win.

I can also vouch for State Farm. The lady that rear ended and tottled my jetta had State farm. They paid me real quick.

Ive been 95% happy with State Farm... my 5% gripe is that they make you jump through hoops if you don't use their approved network of body shops.

I've had State Farm for better than 15 years now, in 2 states. Absolutely no complaints about them.

Allstate, OTOH... ... I was in a fender bender with an Allstate insured driver 10 years ago (his fault, he got the ticket to prove it. ) Absolutely miserable company to deal with from my perspective. Weren't interested in seeing my Jeep, and made several more mistakes along the way. Enough, in fact, that I went back through State Farm, paid my deductible (got it back eventually through subrogation,) and got my Jeep back before Allstate could get me in to one of their adjusters.

Do you have Amica out west? Rated #2 by Consumer reports (FWIW). I have used them for over 20 years for car and homeowners insurance and have never had a problem.

Had an accident 11 years ago which was totally my fault. They paid no problem. Of course my rates were atrocious for the next few years :{

No agent to deal with, go right thru the corporation. They also pay dividends at the end of the year.

Can't recomend them enough.

We have been with Geico for awhile.

Long story short>

On a trip to Utah, this past Christmas, we got backed into while waiting in a left turn lane.

Called the company and with three days the car was repaired and returned to us.

This I was impressed with.

I'm also with State Farm, since I learned to drive. Multi-line (house, rental property, wife's car) and they've always done good by me. When my car was rearended back in 1991 and the other guy's insurance balked at paying, I was able to sic State Farm on them and they got it taken care of.
