Rolling Lock (15mph) stopped working?

The auto door lock @ 15 mph feature stopped working today, or I just noticed it today, thought it didn't last night but forgot. It always worked before? Any ideas?

Dont you feel better now that they dont work? I killed mine by on and off on the key four times and then unlock the doors? It in the manual try reactivating the feature.

Hmmmmm, Maybe after I changed the injectors this past weekend, I cycled the ignition too many times in the effort to build LP psi / push fuel to the VP before starting. Thanks - that's probably what happend. I actually like the fact that the doors lock by them self, at times I travel through some pretty scary places.

Well tried the key thing - still not working. Looked in owners manual - useless - says it's a programmable feature, which can be performed at any "authorized" service center - that's not going to happen. Checked the Dodge Truck Shop Manual - also usless - says it's a programmable feature, which requires a DRB scan tool.



Come on now :{ (blasted manuals) I know I deactivated this feature when I changed injectors on Saturday, bumping the key to start and letting go to cycle the LP, but just can't find any actual instruction on how to reactivate it

Try disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes. The auto lock is the default setting. If you have the dealer unprogram it the cussed thing comes back when you disconnect the battery. On some of our earlier model Chrysler stuff (non programable) it can be defeated by curring the lock wires running through the body computer and bypassing the computer.

Worth a shot anyway. Makes sense cause I had the batteries disconnected for a few hours doing the injectors and then cycling the key (jog to start) to run the LP then I probably hit the lock button some how and de-programmed the rolling lock mechanism?

However, with the luck I've been having with "programmable" stuff if anyone out there in TDR-Land has the sequence of instructions for the programmables for a 99 please share. If it's too much to type and you have it on "WORD" format please "view" my "public profile" and email the file to me - greatly appreciated.

Disconnected the batteries for about 30+ minutes. Connected back up and S'all good - working again Oo.
