Anyone know what gear selection Kent was in at Muncie? Them tires were just plain flying.

I don't think Kent is even useing "normal" transmissions/transfer cases anymore.

I took a look under the Scheid truck at Terre Haute, I was surprised by what I saw, an NV4500. As far as the internals of it, I have no idea. The transfer case was a custom drop box though.

Hey Propuller-If you are so untouchable,why weren't you at Scheids? You obviously stay away from pulls that draw good trucks I guess. Whenever you're ready for a reality check,let me know!



Gene, you're right... . ATS is the only way to go pulling an auto. Very hard to beat.



BTW propuller... how many winners at Scheids or muncie were running autos?

I never said i was untouchable. If you go back & read what i said i was making the point that there are other trans vendors out there that can build a trans that can put the power to the ground. I guess that just because i didnt make it to Scheids this year means that im scared. As far as how many trucks at Scheids or muncie were autos?Couldnt tell ya i wasnt there remember. My short pull at Muncie was because one of my turbo shafts broke in two places. I don't think more transmission knowledge or a stronger transmission would have prevented it.



I believe I was the only DTT transmission there.

I wasnt getting at transmission knowledge, your transmission looked like it held just fine.

From what I can tell George Petersons truck just runs a hell of alot better.
