This may be a strange question, but how does the auto shift? Is it 1 to 2 then 2 to 3 then tc lock then OD. Or does OD come on before tc lock?

Thanks, Ron

Since were talking about shifting here, what are your opinions on why the heck my 98 24v 3500 auto shifts in to 2nd gear at like 5 mph/1700 rpm. its very annoying, i find myself shifting it maunally on the column more and more!

DP I heard there's a screw on the valve body or somewhere you can turn to adjust the shift points to a degree, such as 75 RPM per turn.

Any truth to this anyone?

Partial Lockup=conv Clutch Is Engaged And Disenaged Per Computer So Fast, Do Not Hold Me To This, 50o Times A Second Per Pci Bus Line. This Could Be Way Off Can't Remember The Allowance. Pmcce=partially Modulated Converter Clutch Engagement.

Full Lockup=fmcce=fully Modulated Converter Clutch Engagement. When O/d Has Engaged, Parameters Are Met, Tps, Speed Sensor, Brake Switch, Engine Temp, Trans Temp, P/n Switch, Etc Full Lock, No Modulation.
